Aniya Finger records double-double in North Carolina Central’s 58-55 defeat to Maryland Eastern Shore

Aniya Finger, a standout from Hopewell High School, saw court time Thursday, Feb. 26, as the North Carolina Central Eagles fell 58-55 to the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.

The 5-foot-11 graduate forward tallied 13 points, 11 rebounds and added a steal over 21 minutes of play.

Finger and the Eagles return to action Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2 p.m. with an away game against the Delaware State Hornets.
