0Comments

Cornelius Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.

We have had a great response from people requesting to sponsor a family for our 2021 Adopt-A-Family for the holidays! We no longer need any families to sponsor a family but we are still looking for families that need to be sponsored. Thank you to everyone who signed up to sponsor a family this year!

The 2021 Adopt-A-Family for the Holidays program with the Cornelius Police Department is underway! If you are interested in sponsoring a family, please complete the Adopt-a-Family Registration Form by Monday, November 29th and we will match you with a family in Cornelius. Cornelius PD will provide you with a wish list from a family. We recommend 3 gifts per child, with a maximum dollar amount of $40.00 per item. We ask that you please follow this rule to keep it the same for all the families and sponsors. Please consider at least 1 clothing item and 2 items from the wish list. Wrapped gifts can be brought to the Cornelius Police Department before December 17th. The final day to bring gifts is December 18th and they must be dropped off at the Cornelius Town Hall.
