Cornelius Police Department issued the following announcement on June 7.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, the Cornelius Police Department received a report of a missing/runaway teen from 20239 Heights Way in Cornelius. Kaelyn Jenelle Willis, DOB 09/18/2007, was reported missing by her mother after leaving her mother’s residence in Cornelius. 

Kaelyn was last seen on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, around 4 p.m. leaving a residence on Delftmere Drive in Cornelius.

She is believed to be in the Cornelius area.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kaelyn Willis is asked to call Cornelius Police at 704-892-7773.
