Eric Jacobsen helps lead Washington and Lee to NCAA Division III win over Mary Baldwin

The Washington and Lee Generals, featuring former Lake Norman High School standout Eric Jacobsen, earned a 13-6 victory over the Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels in their NCAA Division III baseball game Tuesday, March 3, at 4 p.m.

Cap’n Dick Smith Field served as the venue for the teams’ first meeting of the season.

Jacobsen pitched 2.1 innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out four batters.

The Generals are slated to play their next game Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m. against Lynchburg Hornets at James C. Fox Field.
