Franklin & Marshall’s Tanner Lewis, a Langtree Charter alum, sees team shut out by Clarkson in NCAA DIII play

At 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats, including former Langtree Charter Academy standout Tanner Lewis, were defeated 12-0 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Clarkson Golden Knights.

The matchup occurred at Baker Campus Fields and marked the team’s second contest with Clarkson this season. Their prior game on Saturday, Feb. 28, ended in a 7-3 loss to the Golden Knights.

Lewis pitched 1.1 innings, giving up three earned runs while issuing one walk and striking out one batter.

The Diplomats plan to face the Hobart Statesmen in their upcoming game, scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday, March 1, at Baker Campus Fields.
