On Friday, March 20, Mason Smith, a former standout from Davidson Day School and current member of the Furman Paladins basketball team, saw his squad defeated 82-71 by the UConn Huskies in the NCAA Tournament.
Xfinity Mobile Arena hosted the game, beginning at 10 p.m.
One running event is scheduled to take place in the East Lake Norman during the week ending May 1, offering an opportunity for adults to compete, stay active, and take part in organized races.
