Methodist Monarchs, featuring former SouthLake Christian Academy standout Garrett Brouwer, secured a 15-10 victory over the Belhaven Blazers in an NCAA Division III baseball matchup held Wednesday, March 11, at 4 p.m.
The contest, held at Armstrong-Shelley Field, marked the first meeting between the Monarchs and Blazers this season.
Brouwer gave up one earned run with two walks in 0.2 innings pitched.
The Monarchs’ next game will be Friday, March 13, at 4 p.m. at Armstrong-Shelley Field versus Southern Virginia Knights.
