Mason Smith, a former Davidson Day School athlete and now playing for the Furman Paladins, is set to participate in the NCAA Tournament.

Furman enters the competition as the 15 seed and will face off against the No. 2 UConn Huskies.

The team will begin tournament play on Friday, March 20, at 10 p.m. at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
