HUNTERSVILLE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH: Updates - April 20

Hunterville1000x667

Huntersville Presbyterian Church issued the following announcement on April 20.

Ecclesiastes 3: 2 teaches us there is a time to plant and a time to harvest. I am convinced this is a time for planting for a future harvest.

Use this time to develop habits to yield a rich harvest.

Invest in daily scripture reading. The YouVersion app has awesome plans. Tomorrow I am beginning a plan by NT Wright – A Journey from Worry to Confident Hope.

Join an online study. There’s information on an awesome Being Challenge at the bottom of this email. I am taking part in this and would love for you to join me.

Join us Wednesday evenings at 6:30 (Eastern) for a Zoom Bible Study of Romans - https://zoom.us/j/729784448

If you need to binge watch something, try The Chosen - https://studios.vidangel.com/the-chosen.  Kim and I started watching it last night.

This is a great time to plant. I can’t wait to see what God will grow in us.

To His glory!

T Doug

PS: If you want to engage in some physical planning watch for future opportunities to work in our Community Garden. Last Saturday we planted cucumbers, melons, tomatoes, flowers and thankfully no kale or okra!

BEING CHALLENGE

Join Pastor Zach Zehnder, author of Red Letter Challenge, as he kicks off a BRAND New 43 day study, called Being Challenge, to help and challenge people to grow in their relationship with God.  These are unprecedented days, and many people across our country and world are implementing new habits. But not all habits are created equal.

Being Challenge will introduce the 5 best habits to form, as seen in Jesus, to help and challenge people to grow in their relationship with God in these unique, unprecedented days.
