Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Jul. 31.
Communications Director Amanda Preston announced Gethsemane Baptist Church of Lake Norman, in partnership with Davidson United Methodist Church, Lake Forest- Davidson, and St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, will host its 15th annual Back2School Community Outreach on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Back2School aims to equip 600 K-12 students, and even some college students this year, by providing book bags and school supplies to those who register for the event by August 1.
