County of Iredell issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
Iredell County Board of Elections announces changes to some polling locations.
Southern Iredell County has grown exponentially in the last decade, resulting in overcrowding and insufficient parking at some polling places. The State Board of Elections has approved changes to some of the Iredell County precinct boundaries and polling sites. Voter cards have been mailed to ALL voters affected by the changes.
One of the changes being made is that Lake Norman Volunteer Fire Department will no longer be used as a polling location.
