Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
The Town of Davidson announces that applications for the 39th Annual North Mecklenburg Holiday Parade are available through Davidson’s Parks & Recreation Department by clicking here.
Applicants need to have an account on the registration website so newcomers will need to create one and then “sign in.” The parade can be found in the “programs” section by using the search bar located at the top of the program list and typing in “39th North Mecklenburg Parade.” Once registered, applicants will receive an email confirmation of registration completion. Parade spaces will only be given to the first 100 applicants.
This year’s parade is Saturday, December 4 at 1:00 p.m. and will begin at the intersection of Main Street and Griffith Street and end at the intersection of Main Street and West Catawba Avenue in Cornelius.
