Town of Cornelius issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
And filling it out is the quickest way to get onto Santa's nice list.
He's making a list, he's checking it twice, he's gonna find out whether or not you filled out the Town's Fiscal Year 2023 Citizen Budget Survey. That's how the song goes, right?
All jokes aside, the Town is very excited to announce that we have, once again, released a Citizen Budget Survey to gauge how you feel about certain subjects that we consider when creating a budget. Last year, we had over 1,100 respondents and the overall top five reported priorities were Public Safety, Transportation, Parks & Recreation, Public Works, and Economic Development.
The Town Manager and Town Board ask that this year, you fill out the survey once more. You can even share it with your friends and family! We want to hear from everyone, even different members of the same household, so that we can have the most complete idea of what our residents want. This information will be crucial to the development of our next budget.
The Citizen Budget Survey will be available beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 29. It should take less than 5 minutes to complete. When you're ready to share your opinions, click the link below:
