Town of Cornelius issued the following announcement on Feb. 15.
Beginning Tuesday, February 22, Catawba Avenue will be restricted to one lane from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Eastbound traffic will be directed to travel in the westbound lane. Westbound traffic will be rerouted behind the live-work buildings. Flaggers will be on-site to help guide motorists.
This lane closure may occur for up to two weeks.
