Town of Cornelius issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
Town Hall will be hosting a OneBlood blood drive on Wednesday, March 2. Another opportunity to donate will be held at First Baptist Church on Thursday, March 10, sponsored by the American Red Cross.
OneBlood / Town Hall:
- 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

- 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
- No registration required
The American Red Cross provides about 40% of the nation's needed blood supply. In January, the organization declared a "national blood crisis," citing critically low supply as the issue. If you are able, please consider making a donation at either of these blood drives. Your donation can help save the life of a patient in need and keep doctors from having to make tough choices about who receives transfusions.
