COUNTY OF IREDELL: Absentee Mail-In Ballot Requests

County of Iredell  issued the following announcement on Mar. 18.

To request an absentee mail-in ballot, submit a completed ABSENTEE REQUEST FORM to your county Board of Elections office.

Requests for the May 17, 2022 election may be sent in now. Mailed ballots will be issued starting March 28, 2022.  Link to Absentee Request Form

You may also request an absentee ballot through the NC Board of Elections On-Line Portal.

The voter or a near-relative may make the request.  The request must include the voter’s valid NC Drivers License number, the voter's NC ID number,  or the last four digits of their social security number.   The deadline to submit an Absentee By Mail request is Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 5 pm.

Note:  Military and Overseas voters should request via  the NC BOE State Portal or  fvap.gov.   These requests cannot be requested by a near relative.

If you are not registered in the county, you must also include a completed Voter Registration Form.  Friday, April 22, 2022 is the deadline to register to voter or change your party affiliation for the May 17, 2022 election.  Voter Registration Link     On-Line Voter Registration Portal

Absentee by Mail requests may be faxed to:  704-832-2312   or mailed to:  Iredell County Board of Elections 203 Stockton Street  Statesville, NC  28677.
