Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Mar. 28.
Join us on the town green for Davidson's annual Town Day on Saturday, May 7, 2022, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.!
We encourage the community to walk or ride a bike to the green (May is National Bike Month). The town will have police officers stationed at key intersections to ensure everyone's safety. Ride your bike and park it in the "bike corral" near the Town of Davidson booth.
Town Day Town Day was originally started as a day of service and fellowship and we will continue on with that tradition. Join us on the town green for activities, fellowship, and a time to support our local non-profits. Please consider bringing a donation of non-perishable food or canned goods when you come to Town Day. Collection baskets will be located at the Town of Davidson’s booth, and food will be delivered to food pantry at Ada Jenkins. In addition, the ReadDavidson committee is working on a project to benefit the Refugee Support Services chapter at Davidson College.
