TOWN OF DAVIDSON: Announces 2022 Summer Concerts

Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Apr. 4.

The Town of Davidson is pleased to announce its 2022 summer concerts with all three series set to return for another great season of music- Concerts on the Green, Concerts @ the Circles, and Second Saturdays at the Square.

The town’s traditional concert series, Concerts on the Green, is held on the Village Green and hosts concerts on select Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Please note that 2 concerts are on Saturday evenings. The 2022 schedule is as follows:

April 24, Davidson College Symphony & Jazz Ensemble
May 1, Carolina Soul Band (R&B Variety)
May 15, Blue Dogs (Americana)
June 12, Band of Oz (Beach)
Saturday, June 25, Dave Matthews Tribute Band
July 3. Rivermist (Variety)
August 14, Gospelfest (Gospel)
Saturday, August 27, Groove Machine (Music of the 70s)
September 11, Tim Clark Band (Variety)
September 25, Davidson College Symphony & Jazz Ensemble
October 2, 90s Kids (90s Tribute)
October 16, Beatlesque (Beatles Tribute)

The town’s Concerts @ the Circles features live music on Jetton Street near Clean Juice. This block of Jetton Street will be closed from noon-10:00 p.m. on concert evenings. There will be an acoustic artist from 5:00-6:30 p.m. and the following headline artists playing from 7:00-9:00 p.m.:

The town’s Second Saturdays at the Square also returns in 2022 with live music on the porch of The Crazy Pig from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The 2022 schedule is as follows:
