Town of Cornelius Parks and Recreation Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 29.
Registration is available for our NEW event, the Flashlight Candy Cane Dash! Held on Sunday, December 11, 6-7 p.m. on the Cornelius Town Hall Lawn (21445 Catawba Avenue, Cornelius), this event is for ages 2-12.
Although free to attend, spaces are limited, so pre-registration is required. To hunt for candy canes, kids should remember to bring their flashlights. Attendees will also enjoy stories read by Santa Claus, crafts, hot chocolate, sugar cookies, and music!
