Town of Troutman Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Nov. 29.
We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program on Saturday during the parade!
If you are interested in donating a toy, please bring it with you to the parade.
A Marine Corps trailer will travel behind Santa in the Christmas Parade (at the end), and there will be helpers ready to collect your toy from you along the route.
