Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Feb. 15.
As a follow up to last night's police activity, there is currently no indication that the outstanding suspect in this investigation has any connection to the Davidson community.
The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department has identified this individual, and he is a juvenile; therefore, they cannot release any additional information.
Any additional inquiries should be directed to the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department. Although the suspect has not been apprehended, he is not believed to be in the Davidson area.
The Davidson Police Department wants to remind residents to continue to be vigilant and to contact 911 if you observe any suspicious persons or activity. As always, the community is always safer when we all look out for the welfare of each other.
