Lake Norman Medical Group, Surgical Weight Loss and General Surgery Mooresville has announced the addition of Dr. Marissa Novack to their team starting in March. Dr. Novack is recognized as a board-certified diplomat by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is affiliated with several professional organizations including the American College of Surgeons, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Novack obtained her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine located in Saint Michael, Barbados. Her residency and internship were completed at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut. Furthermore, she pursued fellowship training focused on minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at the University of Buffalo in Getzville, New York.
