TOWN OF CORNELIUS: Calling Young Artists!

0Comments

Town of Cornelius issued the following announcement on July 22.

Heads Up Cornelius needs your help to design the next official campaign graphic! Enter the Drawing Contest today for a chance to win big. Contest ends August 12th.

All you need to do is print off this sheet and illustrate what roadway safety means to you. This can be safety when you’re driving, walking, or riding your bike.

Feel free to create your design with any tools you’d like. These can be crayons, markers, paint, glue, paper – whatever your heart desires!

Then, kindly ask an adult to either email a picture of your finished creation to townofcornelius@cornelius.org or send it to our Facebook messages. They can also drop your design off at Town Hall!

Be sure to write your name at the top of the page and include a good contact phone number or email address.

WINNERS: The first place artist will receive a $50 Parks & Recreation voucher, a feature in the Town newsletter, and will have the honor of flipping on the holiday lights at our annual Light Up Cornelius event!

2nd and 3rd place artists will each receive a $20 Parks & Recreation voucher and a congratulatory shoutout in the Town newsletter.
