Town of Cornelius Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 14.
We have had a great response from those requesting to sponsor a family for our 2022 Adopt-A-Family for the Holidays program!
We are unable to accept anymore sponsors for this year’s program. Thank you to everyone who signed up to sponsor a family this year!
If you would like to still help in some way by giving this season, we will be collecting gift cards to grocery stores/restaurants/other local retail stores.
These gift cards will then be dispersed among the list of families we have for this year’s program.
Should you wish to donate gift cards, they may be brought to the Police Department anytime Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
