Town of Cornelius issued the following announcement on June 9.

Due to the roof collapse and potential structural issues at 21320 Catawba Avenue, the sidewalk and on-street parking will be closed for the safety of pedestrians and motorists.

The Lake Norman Social District is still open with the exception of the portion in front of 21320 Catawba Avenue.  

When the safety issues are resolved, the area will fully re-open.
