Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
Eureka! Inventors Camp- Children will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and most importantly, their minds.
Campers will create aircrafts, construct working light sticks, and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs.
Kids arrive on a “deserted island” on which they must work together to devise a means for collecting food and water, building shelters & bridges, and learning about the science behind survival!
They’ll use the tools at hand to write messages to send in a bottle and witness a volcanic eruption.
