TOWN OF DAVIDSON: Mecklenburg County and the Town of Davidson to Offer Vaccine Clinic

Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.

With Mecklenburg County, the Town of Davidson is offering a COVID booster and flu shot clinic at town hall on Thursday, October 6, 2-4pm. 

Reservations are appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome too.

The latest recommendations for COVID booster is as follows:

ALL INDIVIDUALS 12 years age and older are eligible for the new BIVALENT COVID VACCINE BOOSTER if it has been 2 months since their previous Covid vaccine (including a monovalent booster dose). The new bivalent formulation targets Omicron variants and original Covid strain.

The original (monovalent) mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are no longer authorized as boosters for individuals 12 years of age or older.
