Town of Davidson Police Department issued the following announcement on Feb. 15.

Davidson Police Department is seeking the assistance of community members to identify the subjects responsible for a number of vandalism incidents occurring late Wednesday evening/early Thursday morning, February 15th and 16th. Davidson detectives are asking community members to review their doorbell cameras and other video surveillance devices to identify suspects or a suspect vehicle in several late-night vandalisms.

Davidson Police Officers responded to several residences on Pine Road, Avinger Road, and the McConnell neighborhood for reports of vandalized vehicles. During the investigation, it was discovered several vehicles had windows shattered by an air gun or BB gun, most likely between the hours of 1:00 am and 5:00 am. Anyone with information or video footage during this timeframe is encouraged to share this footage with police at policeinfo@townofdavidson.org.

Combining the resources of our residents with the investigative efforts of the Davidson Police Department increases our opportunity to hold accountable the individuals responsible for these acts of vandalism. We appreciate your time and your support.
