Town of Davidson issued the following announcement on June 14.

The developer, River Run Limited Partnership, proposes to develop 50.9 acres at 18500 Shearer Rd. to accommodate a 90-unit residential development. The parcel lies in the Neighborhood Edge Planning Area, which requires a minimum forty-five percent open space on-site and a mix of single-family and attached house building types. The proposal includes a park and open spaces as well as numerous multi-use paths.

You are invited to attend a public input session on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Davidson Town Hall, 216 South Main Street, Davidson, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting is to review the development proposal and solicit feedback. Overview presentations by Town of Davidson staff and the project team will occur at 5:05 p.m. and 6:05 p.m., with time allotted for questions and viewing the plans in an open house format after each event.
