Town of Huntersville issued the following announcement on Aug. 26.
Huntersville-Concord Road is still on schedule to open on August 26. Paving begins tomorrow.
Due to underground utility conflicts and unfavorable weather conditions, Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road will not open as planned at the southern round-about on August 26.
The new projected opening date is September 9. The contractor is working diligently to expedite this opening.
