Town of Mooresville issued the following announcement on June 9.
The Eastern Heights Community Watch will hold their annual Juneteenth community cookout event on Saturday, June 18 at Willow Valley Park.
Community resource booths and information will be available noon-2 p.m. FREE food and entertainment will begin at 1 p.m. Festivities conclude at 5 p.m.
This event is FREE, family-friendly, and open to all! Bring your chair or blanket and enjoy the fun!
