Town of Mooresville issued the following announcement on Feb. 5.
With an increase in development in Downtown Mooresville and recent public investments, the Town is interested in creating a Downtown Streetscape Master Plan. The Town desires improving the primary Downtown corridors into attractive walkable and bikeable places. The Town is requesting proposals from qualified firms that will, in part, evaluate the current guiding documents for the downtown area, current conditions of the downtown streetscape environment, and prioritize the corridors well-suited for capital improvement projects. The RFP for the Downtown Streetscape Master Plan has been amended to remove the 6th bullet under “Proposal Format,” which requested cost estimates. Cost estimates/fees will not be requested.
The Town of Mooresville will make a firm selection based on qualifications. The response deadline is February 8, 2023.
