Town of Mooresville issued the following announcement on Apr. 13.

On April 8, Mooresville Police Department (MPD) detectives executed two search warrants, after receiving information that Nicholas Pyaz Tucker, 33, was selling fentanyl pills from his residence (620 Brookwood St. in Mooresville) along with another residence (18 Cascade St. in Mooresville). Nicholas Tucker, a convicted felon, has a lengthy criminal history dating back to 2008, which includes Selling Marijuana, Conspiracy to Sell Cocaine, and Possession With the Intent to Sell Heroin.

At the time of his arrest, Nicholas Tucker was out on bond for multiple charges including Possession With Intent to Sell a Schedule II Controlled Substance (pending since 2018), Felony Possession of Cocaine (pending since 2019), and Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle (pending since 2021).  

During the execution of the search warrants, detectives seized more than 2,000 fentanyl pills (approximately 325 grams), 19 grams of fentanyl powder, 22 grams of cocaine, 110 grams of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, Suboxone strips, over $9,000 in cash, and a 9mm handgun.  

Nicholas Tucker was charged with 2 counts of Trafficking Opiates, 2 Counts of Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver (PWISD) a Controlled Substance Within 1000 Feet of a Park, PWISD Cocaine, PWISD Marijuana, Possession of Firearm by Felon, Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance, (2) Counts of Felony Maintaining a Dwelling, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was held at the Iredell County Jail under a $ 750,000 secured bond.
