TOWN OF TROUTMAN: Barium Master Plan (CZ-MU-22-08) Meeting

Town of Troutman issued the following announcement on July 1.

Staff has received a conditional rezoning request for the Barium Master Plan at the Children’s Hope Alliance property located on US 21 (Shelton Ave) from Prestige Corporate Development, LLC. The request is for Parcel Identification Numbers 4732-95-9334, 4742-26-6650 and 4742-26-9955.  The properties are approximately 848-acres in area.  The developer is proposing a mixed use development at the site (see concept plan at bottom of page).  A conditional zoning district, if approved, is to be developed based on the submitted concept plan and agree upon conditions.  A community meeting is required to be held prior to the case moving forward to Planning Board and was held on July 6, 2022.  A future second community meeting is expected at a future date.    It is anticipated that the Planning Board will hear the case at its August 22nd meeting and Town Council will make a determination on the request at its September 8th meeting.  For more information please contact the Planning Department.
