There was one gas station in cities across Mecklenburg County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.50 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 31, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

The average reported price of regular gas across the county was $2.72 per gallon.

Of the 319 reported gas stations located within Mecklenburg County, 80 offered regular gas.

The average reported price for a gallon of regular gas in North Carolina was $2.69, down from the previous week.
