Winston-Salem State Rams, featuring former Merancas Middle College-CPCC athlete Taylor Simpson, were narrowly defeated by the IUP Crimson Hawks, 65-64, in the NCAA Division II Tournament on Monday, March 16.
The matchup was held at Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex with tipoff at 7 p.m.
One running event is scheduled to take place in the East Lake Norman during the week ending May 1, offering an opportunity for adults to compete, stay active, and take part in organized races.
