The North Carolina Republican Party has added a new member to its leadership, hiring Jason Doré to serve as the executive director as it heads into the general election.
Prior to taking the job, Doré served as the head of the Office of Information at the U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy for the Trump Administration in Washington D.C. the North State Journal reported on May 27.

He moved into a job with the state’s party as a political and communications director. He also served as the executive director of the party after a 10-year stint in private practice.
Doré said he is looking forward to working with local and county leaders and will also assist Party Chairman Michael Whatley in fundraising, the North State Journal reported.
“As North Carolina goes, so goes the rest of the country,” Doré said of the upcoming election, the North State Journal reported. “It’s hard to overstate the importance of November for the future of public policy of North Carolina.”
