The Volunteer Auxiliary of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center has announced the recipients of its 2024 Charitable Giving Program. Six organizations in the Mooresville and Lake Norman area have each received a $3,000 donation. These funds are intended to support community members facing hardship or challenges.

The selected organizations for this year include Welcome Home Veterans, Angels & Sparrows, Hope of Mooresville, The Christian Mission, HealthReach Community Clinic, and Dove House Children’s Advocacy Center. The donations were presented by Nancy Gutowski, President of the Volunteer Auxiliary.

Representatives from each organization attended the presentation event. Among them were Jack Wells from Welcome Home Veterans (Richard's Coffee Shop), Cindy Deutsch from Angels & Sparrows, Lucynda Caceres from Hope of Mooresville, Scotty Moore from The Christian Mission, Amy Stevens and Beth McKeithan from Dove House Children's Advocacy Center, and Alicia Gastelun from HealthReach Community Clinic. Hospital Network CEO Alec Grabowski was also present at the event.

This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the Volunteer Auxiliary to support local organizations that provide essential services to those in need within their community.
