Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville, North Carolina, will collaborate with the American Red Cross to conduct a blood drive on Friday, April 25. The event is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Community Rooms A and B at the medical center's premises on 171 Fairview Road.
The blood drive is accessible to the public, and while walk-ins are welcome, making an appointment is advised. Participants should bring photo identification.
The American Red Cross has emphasized the ongoing need for blood donations due to recent shortages. "The American Red Cross is always in need of blood, and patients are counting on donors to show up," they stated. The organization highlighted that "after a shortfall of blood donations in recent months, the time to give is as critical as ever."
To participate, potential donors can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-REDCROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visiting their website and entering the code “LNRMC.”
