Members of the Lake Norman Regional Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary have continued their tradition of donating new teddy bears and other stuffed animals to the Mooresville Police Department. During their annual holiday celebration in December, the Auxiliary provided approximately 75 new stuffed animals to representatives from the department. These items are intended for use with children that officers encounter.

The donation event is part of an annual tradition where members of the Volunteer Auxiliary collect new stuffed animals from hospital employees, volunteers, and visitors. This collection culminates in a holiday gathering known as the Stuffed Animal Parade.

Present at the event were several key figures: Volunteer Auxiliary Secretary Kathleen; Captain Joe Cooke; Volunteer Auxiliary Vice President Sheryl; Assistant Chief Corey Ciccarelli; Volunteer Auxiliary President Nancy; Assistant Chief Rhonda Faust; Volunteer Auxiliary Treasurer Ruth; and Assistant Chief Frank Falzone.
